Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and young talent Ranveer Singh have reportedly been roped in to play lead roles in "Dhoom 4" movie.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) has reportedly approached Shahrukh Khan to play antagonist and media reports suggest that he has accepted the baddie role in "Dhoom Reloaded."
"Shah Rukh has been approached by Chopra for Dhoom 4. Talks about dates and remuneration are on," a source told DNA India newspaper. "Salman was approached before SRK, but he's very clear right now about not playing a negative character. Shah Rukh has done it in quite a few films before, so he has no reservations."
It is also reported that "Bajirao Mastani" star Ranveer Singh was offered the role of inspector Jai Dixit, which was played by Bachchan in earlier three "Dhoom" movies, Deccan Chronicle reported. "Adi's strategy worked with each Dhoom being bigger than the earlier one at the box-office In Dhoom Reloaded, while Ranveer will now be ACP Jai Dixit, Uday Chopra, who played Ali, will sit out of this project," the source added.
"Dhoom 4" or "Dhoom Reloaded" is a fourth installment of Bollywood's one of most successful franchise "Dhoom." Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham had played antagonist' roles in the previous installment of franchise while Abhishekh Bachchan and Uday Chopra played roles of police inspectors in all three "Dhoom" movies.
Ranveer Singh is currently working in Yash Raj Films' Aditya Chopra-directed "Befikre" opposite Vaani Kapoor. The movie is making headlines for excessive kissing scenes between Ranveer and Vaani. Check out recent 'kissing' posters of "Befikre" here.
