Bollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz clarifies that she is not part of Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Ankhen 2."
The "Rustom" actress took to twitter to deny "Ankhen 2" producer Gaurang Doshi's claim that she had agreed to do the movie. The actress is angry at Doshi and posted "For all those asking, I have not signed."
Ileana is also considering sending legal notice to makers of the movie for announcing her name as part of the heist thriller drama's new cast without her consent. "Gaurang showed Ileana's video at the mahurat yesterday and claimed she was doing the film. But the fact is, she is not doing the film and the announcement has made her furious," a source told Pinkvilla entertainment news portal. "Now she is contemplating initiating action against Gaurang."
Doshi, however, accused Ileana of unprofessional behavior, saying that the "Main Tera Hero" actress had verbally agreed to do the movie. "We had meeting with Ileana D'Cruz along with her manager and besides me, director Anees Bazmee was also present," Doshi told Press Trust of India news agency. "She had said she liked the idea of the film and her role. And within a week she would sign an agreement."
The second installment of 2002 super hit was announced last week in Mumbai in the presence of Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Anees Bazmee, "Ankhen 2" is likely to clash with Ajay Devgn's 'Golmaal 4' on Diwali next year. It stars Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and south Indian actress Regina Cassandra.
