The hit Filipino drama series, "Dolce Amore," starring Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano is expected to end soon. In order to thank their fans, the casts of the phenomenal series held a concert titled "Choose Love" at the Kia Theater a week before its series finale. The two actors are also preparing for a new movie with Star Cinema.
Gil, Soberano and Matteo Guidicelli, lead stars of "Dolce Amorem," entertained their fans during the "Choose Love" concert. The casts performed covers of several hit songs including "Perfect" by One Direction and "Love Is All You Need" by The Beatle's. Rappler also reported that Gil performed a dance number to the song of "Trumpets" as requested by fans online, while Soberano was requested to sing and dance to Ariana Grande's song, "Problem." During the middle of the concert, the casts teased the fans by asking them what ending they wanted the main characters, Serena and Tenten, played by the love team "LizQuen," to have.
Meanwhile, even though "Dolce Amore" is about to end, fans will still see both Gil and Soberano as the two are set to work on a Star Cinema project which is slated to be released this year. ABS-CBN News Online confirmed that they will be starring in a new movie, but the studio has not divulged the storyline yet. Star Cinema is also in the works of finding a director to helm the project.
There are speculations that Theodore Boborol who directed "Just The Way You Are" and Cruz Alviar who directed "Everyday I Love You" which stars the "Dolce Amore" love team will be tapped by the Cinema for the project. But unless Star Cinema confirms, fans will just have to wait for more updates.
