"Dead Rising 4" retailer-exclusive DLC incentives include the "Dead Rising 4" weapons such as X-fists, Steampunk Snowman, Candy Cane and Crossbow Slicecycle. These weapons are available through purchases from different retailers such as Microsoft Store, GameStop, Best Buy and Amazon.
Players can pre-order "Dead Rising 4" from the Microsoft Store in order to gain access to the X-fists, Windows Central reported. X-fists is an oversized Hulk-like hand which can be used while the player is in Frank's Exo Suit. One of the promotional images depicts a similar set of fists, which may mean that the weapon could be available as a palette swap in the main game without pre-ordering.
For those who prefer to get the recipe for the Steampunk Snowman, GameStop is the go to store. Steampunk Snowman is a weapon that has the ability to freeze enemies in place, but it can also be used to shatter them up. "Dead Rising 4" Steampunk Snowman is a combo weapon which will require the players to look for its parts and combine them at a workbench.
Pre-ordering "Dead Rising 4" from Best Buy, on the other hand, will unlock the Candy Cane Crossbow. The game will be set near Christmas so fans are expecting that the ammo for the Candy Cane Crossbow is going to be plentiful, Polygon reported.
Amazon also offers the Slicecycle, a motorcycle with dual chainsaws strapped to its handlebars. It is not the first time that Slicecycle will be seen in the game as it already made its debut in "Dead Rising 2," starring professional motorcyclist Chuck Greene. The weapon could pump a player's kill count while working on the Zombie Genocidest achievements in "Dead Rising 4."
"Dead Rising 4" is set to launch on Dec. 6. All the retailer-exclusive DLC incentives, except for the Microsoft Store, are only available in North American stores. Watch the "Dead Rising 4" trailer here.
