Chinese actress Stephy Chi and her then-beau Korean-American singer/actor Nathan Lee took the plunge and got married at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in La Vegas, Nevada last September 8.
Their relationship, which came under the spotlight April last year, brought controversy as it was rumored that Nathan broke up with his Taiwanese girlfriend Ady An in hopes of romancing Chi.
In spite of all of the negativity surrounding their relationship, the two showed stability almost instantly. The couple got engaged this year on Chinese Valentine's Day after Nathan surprised Stephy with a proposal in Saipan. It was during that event that he publicly pledged to love only her.
Stephy announced their upcoming marriage late last month on Sina Weibo and even posted a picture of her and her beau playing around in wedding garb.
The ceremony at Las Vegas was supposed to be held in the garden outside Caesars Palace, but was moved indoors due to incessant rains that day. It was a low-key ceremony, with no outsiders. Nathan acted as the official translator, translating every word the chaplain said from English to Mandarin.
Stephy's gown was designed by Christopher Bu.
