Supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks is going to teach at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business next spring.

The America's Next Top Model host will provide lectures and co-teach a class of around twenty-five graduate students on creating and protecting brands, according to CNN.

"I'm beyond excited to teach. It's in my blood and I can't wait to meet my students," said Banks in her Twitter account. She will be teaching the course "Project You: Building and Extending Your Personal Brand."

The 42-year old American model and business woman is not new to the academic world. In 2011, Banks was enrolled in an Executive Education Program at Harvard University.

Banks also revealed that she will be "tough" in the classroom, the New York Magazine stated.

"If I see somebody not paying attention, I'm gonna call on them," Banks exclaimed. Banks will also discourage the using of mobile phones during class hours, except when one wants to "tweet something I've said."

Banks will co-lecture the class with Stanford professor Allison Kluger. The former producer of "Good Morning America" and "The View" requested Banks to provide lectures at Stanford University with her. This was after Kluger watched and listened Banks delivered a speech during one of Stanford University's events.

Kluger and Banks will start planning on the course which includes creating brief video advertisement of one's self, livestreaming projects on online social media such as Facebook and YouTube, and promoting yourself on social media especially Twitter wherein Banks has around 13.4-million followers.

The class will have first-come-first-serve basis and no entrance examinations.

Meanwhile, the presence of famous celebrities in prestigious universities such as Stanford and Harvard is not something new in the entertainment industry.

This summer, some celebrities and popular athletes are attending Harvard's Business School. Among these celebrities are Channing Tatum, Maria Sharapova, LL Cool J and some NBA players. Banks graduated from same program.

Aside from being to be a soon Stanford MBA teacher, Banks will also host NBC's reality show "Funded." This is on top of other Bank's ventures which is various businesses that include business marketing and cosmetics/fashion line.
