To give fans an idea of what they can look forward to when "Final Fantasy XV" is released this November, game developer Square Enix released a teaser video revealing its English voice cast.
As listed by Anime News Network, the voice actors and their respective characters include Ray Chase as Noctis Lucis Caelum, the crown prince of Lucis and the game's playable character, and Amy Shiels as Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, Oracle of Tenebrae and Noctis's childhood friend and fiancée.
Chris Parson portrays Gladiolus Amicitia, Noctis's guardian and friend; Adam Croasdell is Ignis Scientia, raised to be the prince's adviser; and Robbie Daymond, who portrays Prompto Argentum, Noctis's friend who he once dated.
The voice cast also includes Jim Pirri as Regis Lucis Caelum, Darin De Paul as Ardyn Izunia, Matthew Mercer as Cor Leonis, and Kari Wahlgren as Aranea.
Here is the video posted on YouTube that introduces the characters and their voice actors:
The game is set prior to the marriage between Noctis and Lunafreya, which is part of the peace treaty between Lucis and Niflheim. However, the peace treaty is a mere ploy by Niflheim, aimed at getting Lucis's crystal. With Noctis believed to be dead, he and his friends try to defeat the enemy and bring back the crystal.
Gamers can now place their pre-orders for the game. The website lists down five options, namely Day One Edition, Deluxe Edition, Collector's Edition, Ultimate Collector's Edition, and Digital Edition.
The options have different perks. For instance, the Day One Edition includes the series weapon Masamune, while the Ultimate Collector's Edition for Xbox One (Europe), according to the website's pre-order page, includes steelbook cases, Blu-Ray copies of "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," "Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV," and a soundtrack, plus a 192-page hardback artbook and a Noctis Play Arts Kai Figure.
"Final Fantasy XV" will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on Nov. 29.
