The captain of the Straw Pirates faces Cracker in "One Piece" Chapter 837, and it shows how threatening the Yonkou executive with a bounty of more than 800 million beli is.
He taunts Luffy that he will baptize him with "New World Cleansing" and boasts about his sword, Pretzel, which has multiplied along with his arms. Nami asks Luffy to back out, but the stubborn captain won't change his mind.
Some of the predictions about "One Piece" Chapter 837 previously reported on Asia Stars News apparently turned out to be true. Luffy gets into Gear Third and attacks with his Elephant Gun, but Cracker blocks it with a biscuit shield. He then makes a counter-attack with his swords. Luffy is sent flying - it looks like he got stabbed right in his belly - making the forest creatures gasp and Brulee laughing.
Brulee reminds Nami that many who have declared themselves to be the next Pirate King ended up with misfortunes once they crossed Big Mom's territory, including Captain Eustass Kid. She also says no one has ever escaped the Seducing Woods.
Big Mom's daughter then belittles the Straw Hats' plans of infiltrating the tea party, stopping the wedding, and getting their friends back. She then tries to pull Nami into her Mirror World. Nami calls on Pound, who hits Brulee with a huge fist.
While Brulee tells Pound that he has now rebelled against Big Mom and there's no chance for him anymore, Nami takes the opportunity to strike a thunderbolt on her. She disappears but Pound says she can return anywhere there's a mirror.
Nami, having confirmed that Lola is the daughter of Big Mom, plans to make good use of the vivre card she gave her. The scheming former pirate thief apparently has something in mind.
Meanwhile, Cracker tells the forest creatures not to let the Straw Hats out of the woods. Luffy then attacks with his Hawk Gattling but the Yonkou executive blocks this again. Exhausted, Luffy falls.
Cracker then tells the Straw Hats captain that if Sanji is his friend, he'd let him be. Enraged by what Cracker claims to be Sanji's happiness, Luffy uses Kong Gun and sends Cracker flying.
There are now speculations and predictions on what might happen in "One Piece" Chapter 838. There are fans on Manga Helpers who think that using Gear Fourth might cause Luffy to lose and get captured, while there are those who think that Doflamingo was way stronger than Cracker.
However, it seems that Cracker has not yet shown all he's got and the next chapter might reveal if Luffy really managed to knock him out or if he's coming back angry and more powerful. His monicker, after all, is "One Thousand Arms."
