Japanese entertainment company Konami announced it will release "Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Experience" package which will include "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" and "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" on October 11.
Aside from that, the package also includes all DLC contents of "Ground Zeroes," "The Phantom Pain" and "Metal Gear Online," DualSHOCKERS reported. "Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Experience" package will be made available for PS4, Xbox One and PC in North America on the scheduled release date. The package can be bought for $49.99 on consoles, while PC costing has yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Konami is also set to release "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" package with "The Phantom Pain" on November 10 in Japan. The retail package will cost around $42, Gematsu noted.
In order to keep "Metal Gear Solid V Universe" alive, the Japanese entertainment company is planning to launch an addition to the franchise called "Metal Gear Survive." According to Konami, ""Metal Gear Survive" will offer a fresh take on the series' famed stealth elements but within a unique co-op setting that is designed for a truly engrossing multiplayer experience."
However, the plan for an addition to the franchise doesn't seem to please the fans as many of them expressed frustration towards "Metal Gear Survive." Despite this, an official from Konami said they understood and respect the fans' reviews of the game; however, it said fans should wait till "Metal Gear Survive" is launched in 2017.
"Metal Gear Survive" will be the first addition to the "Metal Gear Solid V Universe" franchise after creator Hideo Kojima detached from Konami reportedly due to disagreements while on the production process of "Phantom Pain."
