K-Pop group 2NE1 member Chaelin Lee best known as CL will be James Corden's guest on "The Late Late Show ". The show will air on Sept. 15 along with Patrick Dempsey and Renee Zellweger.
The 25-year old singer-songwriter, rapper and model was placed as lead rapper on their group 2NE1 together with Bom, Sandara Park and Minzy. Before officially debuting on SBS's The Music Trend where they performed "Fire", 2NE1 colluded with label-mates "Big Bang" for the song "Lollipop".
Since 2009, CL was a member of 2NE1 and together with her band mates made a great step stateside despite no official debut. Additionally, 2NE1 is the only non-PSY K-Pop artist to hit No.1 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.
On Aug. 19, YG Entertainment released CL's official American debut "LIFTED" and will feature on her solo album. CL is embarking on a solo career under the guidance of Scooter Braun, the superstar executive behind Justin Beiber, Ariana Grande and PSY's U.S breakout, billboard reported.

Appearing on "The Late Late Show " gave speculations as only few Korean singers such as PSY and Girls' Generation have succeeded to have appearances on the said popular US talk show. After her appearance on "The Late Late Show ", CL will be doing various promotions for her new single, YGUnited reported.
"The Late Late Show", an American late-night television talk and variety show on CBS first aired in January 1995. First to host the said show is Tom Synder, followed by Craig Kilborn and Craig Ferguson.
The show is currently hosted by James Corden, a 36-year old comedian with a growing list of award-winning and critically acclaimed credits. Corden is a Tony Award-winning performer on Broadway and a feature film actor with two blockbuster releases this year.
