Blizzard Entertainment is set to make a major announcement in November's Blizzcon 2016. Gamers are now speculating that this could be a surprise about "Diablo 4" or prequels of the series.

Online forum Diabloii starts the buzz in the gaming community after hinting that Blizzcon "will be really cool this year". This prediction is fueled by Blizzard's silence during the E3 and Gamescom events about future projects. Particular arises about when the hack-and-slash game will release another storyline.

To recall, Blizzard paused in developing the anticipated expansion pack for "Diablo 3." This sent waves of rumors that they might be pursuing "Diablo 4" instead. The 4th installment is more likely track for Blizzard because "Diablo 3" is already ageing.

"Diablo 3" was released in 2012. The popular role-playing game franchise became instantaneous hit with 88 percent  Metacritics rating. Although there is initial disagreement about the lack of offline playability compared to predecessor, it sells 30 million copies in all platforms from console to PC.

"Diablo 2 HD Remaster" leaks start when Blizzard unveiled the remake of another oldie "Starcraft HD." The call for re-issue of the millenium release RPG has been circulating since "Diablo 3" did not brought back the nostalgic value of the original gameplay. This HD version will also serve as Blizzards response to tone down the clamor for "Diablo 4," according to Vinereport.

At any rate, the best answer is yet to come in Blizzcon 2016. The event is scheduled in Nov. 4 to 5 in Aneheim, California. It is only until then that gamers will know whether it is going to be "Diablo III" expansion and update pack, "Diablo IV" development and release or "Diablo II HD."

For those who want to attend the event, virtual tickets are selling now at Blizzcon site for $39.99. The amount quantifies for live streamings in HD and provides access to Blizzard channels.
