The Mikaelsons are known for their love-and-hate relationship, but throughout the past seasons' of "The Originals," they have always remained true to their vow of protecting each other. With how the previous season ended, and the news that a new villain is after the legendary Klaus (Joseph Morgan), could the siblings still hold on to their promise of "always and forever?" Could the tragic events in their lives bring them closer, or would their relationship forever fall apart?
Spoilers suggest that the Mikaelson siblings will rise again in "The Originals" Season 4. But given the preceding events that took place last season, viewers are speculating that the siblings will continue to fight amongst themselves. It remains uncertain if Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) would have the heart to forgive his siblings for sacrificing Davina (Danielle Campbell) to the ancestors.
However, in the dream world that Freya (Riley Voelkel) created after putting herself and the rest of her siblings to sleep, they were made aware of how Klaus sacrificed himself to save them from Marcel's (Charles Michael Davis) deadly bite. And while they rest in slumber waiting for Hayley (Pheobe Tonkin) to find a cure, their lives remain linked to their brother who is suffering under the curse of Papa Tunde's blade.
There are speculations that Klaus' sacrifice would allow his siblings to regain their faith in him in "The Originals" Season 4. Rebekah (Claire Holt) also came to the rescue of her siblings after they placed her in force hibernation, suggesting that when worst comes to worst, the Mikaelson's will always be there for each other.
Especially now that there could be an even serious threat to Klaus' life in "The Originals" Season 4. Counsel and Heal reported that a new villain is on its way to New Orleans, and his main target is Klaus.
Meanwhile, viewers are also debating if whether or not the appearance of a new villain in "The Originals" Season 4 would lead Klaus and Marcel to join forces once again and rekindle their father and son-like bond. Holt, on the other hand said during an interview with The Morning Ledger that "I'd like to see Rebekah and her family back together and have a team."
