The long wait is over, Se7en is finally returning to the music scene. Hearing the news, fans must be psych for his return.
On Sept. 5, Se7en's agency Eleven9 revealed that the singer is currently working towards an October release and that "The new album will most likely be a mini-album. Se7en personally participated in producing and writing lyrics for all the songs," Soompi reported. Previously, the agency also mentioned that Se7en has plans on many television appearances especially during the promotional era.
Previously, Se7en released a Japanese single album "Rainbow" and held a Tokyo fan meeting prior to this comeback. Victor Entertainment said "The song represents Se7en's new beginning", The Korea Times reported. "It sends a message to cheer up people who are facing challenges".
We can recall that the Korean singer stopped performing in 2013 because of his prostitution scandal. Allegedly, Se7en visited an adult massage parlor which was a front for adult entertainment while doing mandatory military duty.
The singer has been a trainee under YG Entertainment for three years prior to debuting. However, on Feb. 25, it was confirmed that the two partied have split up.
Choi Dong-wook also known by his stage name Se7en, is a South Korean singer who also advanced to Japan, China and the United States. In 2003, Se7en made his debut with "Come Back To Me" and then released his debut album "Just Listen" on March 8, 2003.
After a 3-year long break, Se7en made an official comeback in 2010 with his first mini-album "Digital Bounce. In October, the singer began his follow up promotions with the song "I'm Going Crazy" featuring his longtime girlfriend Park Han-byul in the music video as main actress.
Park and Se7en first met when they were seniors in high school and had been in a relationship for seven years. In order to protect Park's privacy and to let the relationship grow, Se7en denied rumors that they were a couple. In early 2014, Park and Se7en had ended their 12-year relationship.
