A month before the premiere of the much awaited season, AMC has released a video for fans to take a grip of. In the latest promo trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Negan informs us that "Whatever you had going for you, that's over. The thing is, I am everywhere."
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale ended in a cliffhanger where Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed one of the shows regular who is yet to be revealed. During a Comic-Con event in San Diego featuring the show's cast and creative team, actor Andrew Lincoln promised that Negan's victim will be revealed in Season 7. "It's a really shitty start to the season", Variety reported.
In a recent interview with the show's executive producer Gale Ann Hurd, she described Negan as the ultimate villain. "He's been the ultimate villain in the comic book, and I think Morgan is bringing him to life the way that I imagined because he is larger than life, charismatics and really enjoys what he does," E! News quoted Hurd as saying.
Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" is set to debut on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. Having 16 episodes, the season will be split into two parts, with the first eight episodes airing this fall and the second half debuting in February 2017.
"The Walking Dead" is an American horror drama television series based on the comic book with the same title starring Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and many more. The series premiered in the United States on Oct. 23, 2010 exclusively on AMC and Fox Channels.
On Aug. 23, 2015, the prequel series "Fear the Walking Dead" premiered on AMC. It is a post-apocalyptic horror drama series set in Los Angeles which follows a dysfunctional family at the onset of a zombie apocalypse. In the series, the family must refurbish themselves to survive, as they come to terms with the imminent collapse of civilization.
