Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift breakup news have taken the internet by storm. After reports surfaced that she dumped him, news are now pouring in that in fact it was the other way round.
As reported by Daily Mail, it was not Swift but Hiddleston who dumped the singer-songwriter because he grew tired of her. The report states that according to the actor's friends, he is '"fickle with women"' and only has a three-month dating policy.
"The reports are wide of the mark and come as news to all Tom's friends. He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn't the other way round," said a theatre producer who worked with the Thor star.
Describing him as a commitment-phobe, the unnamed friend said that the 35-year old actor drifted from Swift because he gets bored very easily. The new details come shocking considering her team gave reports that the "Wildest Dream" hitmaker decided to part ways with the actor after he demanded to walk the red carpet with her. According to her close circle, the singer felt that Hiddleston liked her only because of the limelight and was using her fame to strengthen his Hollywood career.
Their much publicized three-month romance became a laughing stock after their over the top public displays of affection. The most infamous PDA moment happened when Hiddleston was snapped wearing a 'I heart T.S' vest during their July 4th weekend break in Rhode island.
The former couple popularly known as 'Hiddleswift' began dating soon after the singer broke up with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. Immediately after their break up, Harris even hinted at Swift's infidelity. Their constant jibes reached a peak when her representatives confirmed that the singer wrote the lyrics of his hit song "This is what you came for".
Swift however, is in no mood to be bogged down by controversies and was seen smiling on her way to gym in New York on Wednesday as reported by the daily. Hiddleston on the other hand, was pictured looking depressed while out with his friends in Australia.
Meanwhile, one of Swift's close friend told that she is ready to date again. "Taylor is in her mid-twenties and enjoys dating men. So what? She'll carry on until one of them turns out to be the real deal. She's not pressing any panic button yet," she said.
