Actor Shia LeBeouf has been on a roll with his controversial antics in the Hollywood spotlight, some of those antics include slamming director Steven Spielberg.  Again, the actor has gained the spotlight as he once again criticized his former collaborator and director-producer just recently.

Variety conducted a candid interview with LeBeouf, revealing how he felt being directed by the famous filmmaker who directed the young actor in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and executive produced the first three "Transformers" movies. The actor mentioned that he looked forward in working with the director, hoping for an amazing movie collaborative experience. He eventually realized, however, that working with Spielberg was not best experience he had hoped for, mentioning that "he's less a director than he is a (expletive) company."

The actor continued on slamming the director's lack of artistic integrity due to how mechanical and contrived he felt in the movie production. LeBeouf expressed his disappointment on Spielberg's sets, commenting on how "different" they were from the movies he's worked on.

LeBeouf even admitted his dislike for the movies he's starred in, such as "Disturbia," "Eagle Eye," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Even the "Transformers" series did not earn the actor's favor, all except for the first "Transformers" movie.

In related news, E! News also covered the numerous things Shia LeBeouf had said in the Hollywood spotlight, in which the issue with Spielberg was part of. One thing he mentioned though was that he admired "Transformers" director Michael Bay saying how much he enjoyed working with him. LeBeouf also said that the director has to get a little "ballsier" with his direction in productions, if his career was to survive. As of now, in spite of his admiration towards Bay, the actor is not interested in working on blockbuster movies with him again.

Shia LeBeouf has been working his best on trying to revive his acting career with quality projects. His next movie "American Honey", to be released on Sept. 30, has been earning him some good reviews for his career. LeBeouf is also cast in the biopic "Borg/McEnroe" as tennis star John McEnroe
