Chris Pratt claims that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will be the biggest spectacle movie of all time. He plays Peter Quill aka Star-Lord.
According to Comicbook, Pratt had a recent interview with the Toronto Sun. He did not give further details related to the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" since the movie will not be released until 2017. However, he did confirm that the movie is completed and is predicting big things to come.
Pratt said that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is going to be out on May 5. He assured that it will be terrific. He admitted that he is proud of it. He calls it the biggest spectacle movie of all time because of the fabulous script and the whole production really worked hard on it. He tipped that it will do something a little different, more cosmic, from the usual ones seen in a lot of superheroes. He is delighted to be part of the movie.
Pratt is transformed from the pudgy punchline thrower on "Parks and Recreation" to a bonafide action movie star in the sequel "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," ABC News reported. He did roles in movies such as the billion-dollar-making "Jurassic World" and the upcoming "Magnificent Seven" reboot opposite Denzel Washington.
Pratt will reunite with Zoe Saldana as the green-skinned assassin Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and the voices of Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as the tree-man Groot. In "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," Pratt's character will find his long-lost alien father Ego (Kurt Russell), who is a man-planet.
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will be released by Marvel Studios, which is owned by Disney. "The Magnificent Seven" opens Sept. 23.
