SEGA has already been planned to be expanded into the film and TV genre, with two of its classics, "Altered Beast" and "Streets of Rage,” in the making. Additionally, “Deadpool’s” Tim Miller is also onboard for a “Sonic the Hedgehog” film.

GamesDec 07, 2016 09:31 AM EST ‘Kill la Kill’ Animation Studio TRIGGER To Develop Opening Animation for Action RPG ‘Indivisible’
Lab Zero, best known for developing the video game "Skullgirls", recently partnered with TRIGGER to create the opening animation for their upcoming role playing game (RPG) entitled "Indivisible". The storyboard for the opening will be handled by Titmouse whose best known for projects such as "Venture Bros." and "Superjail!" The director of the animation will be Yoh Yoshinari who worked on "Little Witch Academia". "Indivisible" was funded through crowdfunding platform Indiegogo and released a free prototype to promote the game as well as bring in monetary support. The prototype is available for download through Steam, PlayStation 4, Windows, Linux, and Mac.

GamesDec 07, 2016 07:43 AM EST EA Announces 39th Free Game ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Available with EA Access Vault on December 13; ‘Rogue One: Scarif’ Now Available
In a recent announcement by Electronic Arts (EA), "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be available on the subscription based EA Access as part of the free game library starting December 13. The free game vault has been adding up since October with games such as "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" and "EA Sports UFC 2" already included. EA Access is a service for the Xbox One similar to that of Origin Access for the PC, though "Star Wars Battlefront" is not yet available on Origin Access. The PlayStation 4 on the other hand does not have any similar platform.

A recent tweet by Hideo Kojima showcased his recently bought copy of "The Last Guardian" along with a congratulatory message to game creator Fumito Ueda. The congratulatory messages were shared by other developers as well. This includes Guerrilla Games Managing Director Helmen Hulst who mentions that Ueda's work is inspiring. Guerrilla Games is in partnership with Kojima Production for the development of the upcoming game "Death Stranding" which uses Guerrilla's Decima Engine.

GamesDec 07, 2016 05:09 AM EST ‘Pokken Tournament’ Arcade Version’s Latest Release Adds Empoleon, Scizor, Darkrai, No Wii U Release Date Yet
The arcade version of "Pokken Tournament" continues to release new content on a regular basis and the latest announcement is the Water/Steel type Pokémon Empoleon. The release comes with an introductory trailer that showcases the Pokémon as well as its different moves, fighting with the other characters already available in the game. The character is scheduled to be added on December 15 and no information has been given on a release for the Wii U version.
