Today, Bandai Namco revealed more details about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," just in time for its looming release date. Everything that fans need to know about the game are now out in the open through the game's latest trailer, while the beta version remains exclusive to PlayStation 4.
As per the trailer, it detailed how the Time Patrollers works, character customization, an overview of the "Dragon Ball" history and gameplay that allows players to build a team of up to six players,Siliconera reported.
According to previous reports, new characters such as Gojita, Belarus, Bardock, Frieza, Dodoria, Meta Cooler, Majin Vegeta, Zerbon, and Turtles have been added as playable characters. In addition, Time Breaker Bardock and Golden Frieza from the "Dragon Ball: Resurrection of F" movie has been confirmed to appear on the game too, along with Super Saiyan Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta who showed up on the latest trailer.
Ahead of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" official release date, fans already had a glimpse of Goku, Vegeta, Nail, and Meta-Coolers in the battle ground through the game developer's published screenshots.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco already announced that two beta phases will be released for the PlayStation 4. The closed beta will commence on October 08 until October 10, while the closed beta will be on October 14 until Oct. 17, NZ Gamer reported.
These beta phases are said to be exclusive on the PlayStation 4 console. Players who already pre-ordered the game via PlayStation Store can access the beta on the said dates.
PlayStation 4 players who participated on the beta may also progress their saved data when the game is released and will get a free in-game item too.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date is slated on Oct. 25 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America, while Europe will have it on later date on October 28 along with PC version's worldwide launch via Steam.
