The Memphis Grizzlies still have a host of players in the injured list as the team's training camp is set to start next week.

Seven players, including main men Marc Gasol (non-displaced Type II fracture of the navicular bone in his right foot) and Mike Conley (left Achilles tendinitis), are still nursing separate injuries at this point of the offseason. The others are Chandler Parsons (torn right medial meniscus), Brandan Wright (sprained right MCL), Jarell Martin (left foot soreness), Deyonta Davis (left foot plantar fasciitis), and Jordan Adams (right knee cartilage transplant surgery), according to ESPN.

However, Gasol and Conley were already cleared to resume full on-court activities at this time.

"All of these players will play a key role in the level of success we are able to achieve this upcoming season and we are thrilled that the majority have been fully cleared to participate in all basketball activities heading into training camp," general manager Chris Wallace said, as per the Grizzlies' official website.

At the moment, the team's main focus is on the rehabilitation of Gasol and Conley, who had been the Grizzlies' main pillars for several years now. Together with Zach Randolph, they had personified the club's "Grit N' Grind" style of basketball.

The 31-year-old Gasol's status is quite good at this point as he was already cleared to return to full court activities starting training camp as the healing from his surgery done in late February had been completed as of this month. He is now allowed to steadily increase his on-court workload in preparation for the upcoming season.

"I feel really good, lots of energy," said Gasol. "Obviously I miss the game a lot. I want to play. I want to compete, and the one thing on my mind is to win, and try to lead this group of guys to the championship."

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Conley has also been cleared to go back to full court activities after he went on an extensive rehab to heal his injured left Achilles tendon.

"Rehab went well. It was very tedious and I had to take baby steps every month, but it got better and better. Right now I'm at 100 percent. The Achilles is feeling great. I'm just trying to get the body back in shape, I haven't played in a long time," Conley said.
