‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ latest teaser trailer: Milla Jovovich as Alice returning to Raccoon City

Screen Gems has just released the newest teaser trailer for what seems to be the last "Resident Evil" movie. Milla Jovovich returns to Raccoon City with director Paul W.S. Anderson in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."

In an article from Polygon, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" picks up immediately after all that occurred in the movie, "Resident Evil: Retribution." Mankind's survival is hanging on a thread as the B.O.W's (Bio-Organic Weapons) roam the earth. Milla Jovovich's character, Alice, a survivor of the all the events in the movie, must return to Raccoon City to once and for all stop the evil Umbrella Corporation - the company responsible for creating and unleashing genetic monstrosities and turning humans into zombies. Based on a synopsis from Screen Gems, Alice will be in for the most difficult fight yet as she battles monsters, both new and old.

Returning to the movie is Dr. Alexander Isaacs, the evil head scientist of Umbrella Corporation played by Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont from "Game of Thrones"). Shawn Roberts also returns as the evil big boss of the series Albert Wesker, according to Variety.

For the allies of Alice, Ali Larter returns as Clair who appeared in "Resident Evil: Extinction" and "Resident Evil: Afterlife," while model and actress, Ruby Rose, also joins the good guys as Abigail.

Other than the actors returning in their old roles, audiences will the Hive once more - the place of origin for the virus in the first 2002 film; the Red Queen - the holographic guide (and foe) also from the first film; and the next-to-impossible laser hallway trap.

More information on the movie will be reportedly shown in the New York Comic Con during creen Gems' panel at 1:30 PM ET on Oct. 7.
