Marvel recently handed out a comic book prequel to the upcoming "Iron Fist" series in Netflix. To cement the #itsallconnected mantra of MCU properties, Carrie-Anne Moss who also appeared in "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil" Season 2 will reprise her role as Jeryn Hogarth in "Iron Fist."
Marvel came with promotional goodies for fans handing out an "Iron Fist" cover with the comic book prequel underneath at the New York Comic-Con, Comic Book Resources reported. The Marvel booth likewise went to hand out promotional tattoos with a link to of a video teaser containing the snazzy "Iron Fist" motion poster.
After the release of "Luke Cage," promotion for "Iron Fist" went to full swing. Additionally, Marvel also came out with the caption "Orphan. Warrior. Hero" tagging "Iron Fist" executive producer Joe Quesada who reportedly designed the art for the posters.

According to the synopsis for the upcoming series, the story will follow Danny Rand's attempt to reconnect with his past while battling criminal activities in New York.
"Game of Thrones" alum Finn Jones will play the titular role. He will be joined by Jessica Henwick (also from "Game of Thrones") as Colleen Wing, a character which was teased to be Rand's ally in "Luke Cage" season finale. David Wenham, Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey will play the Meachum siblings named Harold, Joy and Ward respectively, Screen Rant reported.
In the comic books, "Iron Fist" tells the story of Danny Rand fifteen years after he was orphaned in an expedition to find the mystical city of K'un-L'un. Accompanied by business partner Harold Meachum, Wendell Rand, his father, fell from a mountain ledge. Instead of helping, Meachum caused Wendell to plunge to his death.
"Iron Fist" will also serve as a prequel to the upcoming "The Defenders" mini-series under Netflix which will serve as the street-style version of the "Avengers" within the television sphere of the MCU. The series is slated to arrive on March 17, 2017.
