The brutal aftermath of Negan's first killing rampage on the premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 has been released.

On Saturday, AMC has offered fans a sneak peek footage of the first few minutes of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 at the Comic Con event in New York. The 3-minute clip, which saw Negan and Rick exchanging death threats, took place after the Big Bad's killing of his yet-to-be-known first victim. While this arc has been a huge kept secret since the hiatus break, it is expected that Negan's reign over the survivors will have lasting, traumatizing effects.

"What happens in Episode 1 will shatter the lives of those who survive," executive producer Scott Gimple recently revealed to TV Line.

Back in New York, the showrunner teased that aside from the emotional impact, the cast members delivered moving performances during the covert scene.

"The performances this season are astounding," Gimple told the crowd during the panel.

"There are some creepy, strange, weird new Walkers. And there's are some amazing new faces."

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, gave away a piece of intel about his merciless character on "The Walking Dead" Season 7. During the panel, Morgan revealed to the crowd that Negan has his own style of justice, and things will only get worse for the people who will choose to contradict him.

"It's not just the charisma," Morgan said in a report from Variety.

"A lot of people follow him out of fear of getting an iron to the face or worse. But he's also kept a lot of people alive for a long time."

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9PM on AMC.
