Bethesda has been releasing news on the upcoming "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition." With the game going officially gold, the game studio has announced the game's PC system requirements, along with the file size for all platform versions of the game.
In its official site, Bethesda mentioned that the players will be experiencing the game for the first time on Xbox One and PS4. The company also mentioned that "the Special Edition will include native 4K support for the PlayStation 4 Pro."
"What's most exciting to us is that Special Edition also means a new generation of players can create new Skyrim Memories and learn what it means to be Dragonborn for the very first time," added Bethesda.
With the Special Edition being released, it also signifies the first time studio is "celebrating a release as an international studio." Bethesda expresses its heartfelt thanks to its Montreal branch that helped in contributing to this.
Just a reminder of what the Special Edition entails, PC Gamer N mentions that the this version will have a complete overhaul in its visuals and effects and also includes god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections and even new snow and water shaders.

"The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition" will be released on Oct. 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those who bought the original game on Steam (along with the DLCs) will be able to acquire the Special Edition for free.
