BioWare has had the habit of releasing epic story-driven trailers for the MMO "Star Wars: The Old Republic." This time, a new expansion called "Knights of the Eternal Throne" will continue the story of the previous one that is "Knights of the Fallen Empire," not to mention show an epic trailer with a tragic story in it.
Based on an article from Kotaku, the trailer explains the story of on Senya, a Knight of Zakuul and also ex-wife of the antagonistic Emperor Valkorian. While the previous trailer of "Knights of the Fallen Empire" focused on the emperor's twin sons, this time the trailer of "Knights of the Eternal Throne" showed the trailer for his and Senya's daughter Vaylin.
The trailer showed a young, blonde girl named Vaylin bonding with her mother Senya and, a few seconds later, featured her having innate Force powers. As she grew, her powers were uncontrollable even during training nearly killing a trainer. Emperor Valkorian took interest and took her away from Senya to be "conditioned."
The next scene showed individuals in white robes constantly trying to "condition" her to be dark warrior. Being burdened by this, Senya tried to rescue Vaylin but only to be rejected by her daughter. Years have passed, and carnage followed Senya's daughter. It was up to the mother's task to end her daughter's carnage as the trailer ended with the two crossing lightsaber blades.
For the expansion's mechanics and systems, on the other hand, "Knights of the Eternal Throne" has bunch of new features will be mentioned here straight from Bioware's official site:
