Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) has been giving hype for its fans in the upcoming "Star Citizen" MMO game. To tickle the fans' excitement even more, CIG has announced that the much-anticipated, highly ambitious open-universe game will be free for access for a limited time only.
The announcement for that was released in "Star Citizen's" official page, where fans are given a chance to download and try and nearly limitless sandbox space game for a limited time only. All that is needed is a free registration in its website and to type in the designated code "FALL2016" to begin playing CIG's "Star Citizen" -- well, in its Alpha state, that is. The post further added that the demo will be only available until this Sunday, Oct. 30.
Also termed as the Alpha Free Fly event, the content of "Star Citizen" demo will be meager and limited so fans shouldn't expect too much. However, according to Dualshockers, players will get to witness and participate in galactic space fights and the ever growing universe in the Crusader system. Well, it's actually still considerably "big" for an Alpha game since it still has a "large chunk of content" for players to enjoy. Some of these limited contents include some space ships like the officially announced "fast and powerful" F7C-M Super Hornet.
So far these are just some of the official information released about the game by CIG for "Star Citizen." These contents might be seen in the final build (or at least in more demos). For now at any rate, fans will just have to wait for more actual news.
There hasn't been any official word on the "Star Citizen's" release date yet, but it is worth mentioning that single-player campaign, "Squadron 42," will reportedly be released in 2017.
