"Grey's Anatomy" will feature the return of Leah Murphy on its Nov. 27th installment titled "Roar."

As previously reported, the medical drama enlisted actress Tessa Ferrer to reprise her role as the former intern who was involved in a brief romantic arc with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). In a sneak peek released by ABC, the two-minute clip gives viewers a brief tease on how Murphy's return will bring awkwardness inside the hospital. It is also palpable that Arizona is deeply affected that her former flame is once again roaming the surgical floor.

"Did Pierce tell you about her new favorite resident?" Arizona nervously asks Alex on the clip.

"Technically, it's an old resident. Leah. Murphy."

It's clear that Arizona is holding some bottled-up feelings over Leah. Moving forward, it is going to be an interesting couple of weeks to see how this tension will play out between the two on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. It is not uncommon for the series to bring back old faces especially if there's a need to beef-up a fan-favorite character's storyline.

Murphy's return comes in the wake of Sara Ramirez' exit in Season 12, who has decided to depart the series to take some time-off.

In other arcs, the episode will also find Bailey (Chandra Wilson) facing an ordeal that involves making a hard decision about Alex. The plot synopsis did not give further details, but it is safe to assume that it is connected to his felony charge for attacking DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). Justin Chambers, the portrayer of Alex, has been part of "Grey's Anatomy" for so long now that it seems predictable that Alex will survive this ongoing legal battle.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 airs every Thursday at 8PM on ABC.
