Cleveland Cavaliers receive their championship banner and raise the championship banner. The team look forward to repeat their championship with the good start in 2016-17 season, defeating New York Knicks in the opening game.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver presented the Larry O’Brien trophy and the championship rings to the 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, as reported by ESPN. The presentation was held before the season opener game between Cavaliers against the New York Knicks on Oct. 25. Principal owner of Cleveland Cavaliers Dan Gilbert was first to receive the ring. Subsequently, he addressed the crowd and thanked the fans for supporting them.

"You're the greatest sports city in the world. Thank you." Gilbert said. “When this is over and that banner goes up, there's only one thing left to do: Repeat."

After the presentation ceremony, the championship banner is raised and they started the 2016-17 season with a game against New York Knicks. Cavs comfortably won the game 117-88.

The Cavaliers showed that their game strategy is still as effective as last season. According to  FOX Sports, there is still a possibility for Cavs to win the NBA championship again this season because of many reasons.

One of the reason is the pressure to repeat the championship has been release off their shoulder, as Cavaliers enter the 2016-17 season as an underdog. Nobody will expect them to win the championship, but they have the potential to repeat in some factors.

One of the factor is Kevin Love, who has already fully adjusted to the team’s gameplay where he fits in well. Another factor is the balance of the team. As the NBA is evolve into the 3-point shooting game, but the balance to combine score from the rim and the arc is more important. Cavaliers are able to do so with their current roster.

It will be amazing to see how Cavaliers will play in the 2016-17 regular season. Watch the NBA championship presentation ceremony to Cleveland Cavaliers before the game against New York Knicks on Oct. 25 at the Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland.
