Apple on Thursday unveiled its new line of Mac Book Pros. However, the iPad Air 3, was a no-show at the "Hello Again" event of the company.

Looking back, Apple first launched the line of iPad Air products in 2013 and soon after released an upgraded version the following year. At present, it is still an ongoing mystery whether Apple will continue its production of the iPad Air line of products. Since they had already introduced the more improved version in the iPad Pro in 2015, it's now becoming more likely that iPad Air 3 will no longer hit the shelves.

Of course, this speculation heavily supports what just unfolded during Apple's event on Thursday. The company heavily focused on its line of Mac Book Pros and the iPad Air was a total no-show. While this is the case, there are still some who are not giving up hope - embracing a mindset that the device will still arrive sometime next year.

It was first speculated that the iPad Air 3 will be launched this time of year, concurrent with the Oct. 27 event. But sources are claiming that the delay was due to the company's decision to shift its focus on developing enhanced versions of the iPad Pro, which will be introduced as iPad Pro 12.9.

This was supported by a recent report from Bloomberg saying that the company is in the works of preparing iPad upgrades solely for the iPad Pro, its software and improved support on the Apple Pencil.
