As the next big title in Bioware's lineup of games, "Mass Effect Andromeda" has gotten fans very excited, especially in the upcoming November 7 event (or commonly known as the N7 Day), where major announcements are said to appear for the franchise. With the latest title in the series, it's bound to appear in next gen consoles especially on the PS4 Pro, but fans are wondering if it will be supported on the newly-released hybrid game console, Nintendo Switch (NX).
According to Gamespresso, however, it's more likely that "Mass Effect Andromeda" won't have any ports to the Nintendo Switch platform since Bioware hasn't made any mention of such plans yet. It's still uncertain if the studio plans on collaborating with Nintendo as a whole or just this game in particular.
Even "Mass Effect" series producer Michael Gamble cannot confirm on the possibility of the game appearing on the hybrid console or even the entire company joining forces with Nintendo since that hasn't been part of the company's plans.
However, it's still NOT a 100 percent guarantee that "Mass Effect Andromeda" (or possibly any title of the series) would never appear on the NX. GameRant reports that more and more games have already appeared on the NX, just like "Just Dance 2017," "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and many more, so fans can still keep their fingers crossed.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be released on Mar. 21, 2017, with reports of the game supporting 4K as previously announced by BioWare.
