(Photo : Facebook/NBCTimeless) Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), Lucy (Abigail Spencer) and Wyatt (Matt Lanter) returned to the bloody Alamo seize to save the timeline.

The latest adventures of our time travelling heroes brought us back to the days of the bloody Alamo massacre in Texas. But before that, Rufus confronted Connor while visibly shaken at being approached by a Rittenhouse operative. Meanwhile, Wyatt was informed that he is being replaced on the team, but the sudden alert that Flynn is in Texas, who happens to be Wyatt's home state, days before the Alamo totally changed the pan and Wyatt is given one more trip.

Back in time, Flynn, while pretending to be an army colonell, told Gen. Santa Anna that he can help him crush the rebellion, which is really not much of a trick when you one would figure out that the Mexican forces did not need much help to win that battle, despite the valiant show of strength the Alamo defenders.

Flynn then confronted Col. William Travis and killed him four days before he is to die in reality, and four days before he is able to write the historically significant 'victory or death' letter that became a rallying cry in the Battle of Alamo. Wyatt told Rufus to figure a way out for the women and children to be saved and instructed Lucy to finish the letter.

Meanwhile, Wyatt had flashbacks to being in present-day Alamo battles, and he used this knowledge from the battles to tell Jim Bowie how best to defend the fort. At the near conclusion of the now-famous battle, Wyatt wanted to stay but Lucy talked him out of it, and they high-tailed it out of the fort through an aquifer.

At present day, Rufus and Lucy talked their superior officer and convinced them not to replace Wyatt. Thereafter, Lucy returned home to face her mother. Her mother wanted to know why she left for work at wee hours but Lucy wanted to know the story behind her father.
