A high-profile matchup between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics (3-1) and Cleveland Cavaliers (4-0), is set at the Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday night.

Boston is on a two-game winning run after suffering their first loss of the season against the Chicago Bulls during their second game.

The team managed to get their revenge against Chicago as they beat them, 107-100, at the TD Garden on Wednesday, as per CBS Local Chicago.

Isaiah Thomas led the team with 23 points and 10 assists while Amir Johnson also scored 23 points, including four three-point shots, along with six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks in a brilliant all-around game.

The rest of head coach Brad Stevens starters also scored in double figures with Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, and Tyler Zeller, who started in place of Horford, firing 13, 11, and 10 points respectively.

"I just made the first one and my confidence got a little higher," said Johnson with regards to his surprising three-point effort. "When I knocked down the fourth one, I don't even think I even saw the basket."

However, the game cost the Celtics their starting small forward Crowder as he joins Horford in the injured list with a sprained ankle.

Meanwhile, the Cavs will look to keep their undefeated start to the season as the team aims to win back-to-back titles.

Cleveland is coming off a high-scoring 128-120 win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday also at the Quicken Loans Arena for their fourth straight win, Fansided reported.

Kyrie Irving had 32 points and four assists to lead the defending champs while Kevin Love contributed 24 points, five rebounds, and two steals. LeBron James had a usual all-around performance of 19 points, 13 boards, and eight assists.

JR Smith went 5-for-11 from downtown to score 15 points. He also had three rebounds and two assists.

"He's growing every day," James said with regards to Irving. "He's only 24 years old. He's special."

Prediction

There are no indications that Cleveland is ready to snap their winning streak yet. The Celtics are undermanned with two starters sidelined while playing on the road and so the Cavs are the overwhelming favorites to win this one.
