Solange Knowle's looked like an ethereal queen on her Saturday Night Live debut. It also became a family affair as Mother Tina Knowles and sister Beyonce went to support her. JayZ, who reportedly doesn't get along with the youngest Knowles, also went to give her his love.
Solange Knowles was the musical guest and she performed songs "Cranes in the Sky" and "Don't Touch my Hair" from her new critically acclaimed album "A Seat at the Table", which took four years to make, ELLE reported.
For her "Cranes in the Sky" performance the singer songwriter wore an elegant Swarovski crystal custom made dress by Erickson Beamon, which added an elegant effect to her overall performance. Her halo braided and hand beaded headgear which took 40 hours to make by artist Shani Crowe added to the layer of drama.
For her "Don't Touch my Hair" performance, Solange donned her natural afro hair, which was styled by celebrity hair stylist Chuck Amos. She wore a simple white ensemble of high-waisted pants and crop top.
Tina Knowles and Beyonce were there to celebrate Solange's big night. JayZ was also at the backstage. Some of the SNL cast members were sharing snapshots of Beyonce and JayZ on social media, ET Online reported.
Solange and Beyonce have plenty of reason tocelebrate. In addition to the youngest Knowles' achievement, both the sisters have recently broke a record by becoming the fist sisters to land No. 1 albums. Solange's "A Seat at the Table" landed the top spot in Billboard's 200 chart.
Other siblings who landed No. 1 were Michael and Janet Jackson and Master P and Sikk the Shocker.
JayZ's attendance only confirms that his feud with Solange was long over. It was Solange who allegedly caught JayZ flirting with "Becky with the Good Hair", Rachel Roy at the MET gala where Solange attacked JayZ at the elevator for.
JayZ and Beyonce recently also made headlines when they hosted a concert to campaign for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Reports have also surfaced that the power couple's net income significantly increased after said concert. Their combined income, which almost amounts to a billion dollar, surged after the rally.
