Following the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey, "Lemonade" singer Beyonce Knowles is planning to launch her own TV network. She plans to venture into this new territory within the next ten years, and will feature educational content related to the history of America and Africa.

Beyonce is preparing to expand her business empire in collaboration with her management company Parkwood, and will be setting up her own TV network, Mirror reported. Just like Winfrey, the singer will be launching her own channel and that too within the next ten years, some insiders stated.

Moreover, she wants to showcase documentaries about the history of America and Africa on her TV network. Unlike Winfrey's show, which is more of a life changing talk show or any other sitcoms or soaps, Beyonce wants to focus on more educational stuff.  It has been further revealed that with the network, Beyonce wishes to give life to the ideas of her creative friends.

Beyonce is not just the "Queen of Pop," as apart from her successful music career, she has a large business empire and also owns a fashion line. Moreover, the charitable efforts made by Beyonce are also pretty well known, and now, the talent powerhouse will also be donning the hat of a TV producer.

In other news, it has been revealed that earlier this month, Beyonce has replaced her management firm Parkwood. The new team is more of a super team, which also includes JP Morgan's Steve Pamon, The Sun reported. Though there are many reasons that led to this decision, the prime cause behind this decision is the upcoming TV network.

Beyonce has surely undertaken a big responsibility and now, all that fans hope is that the network works out just like the success of her song numbers.
