After many speculations and uncertain guesses, it has been confirmed that Bruno Mars may be joining the likes of Coldplay and Beyonce at Super Bowl 50 in California's Santa Clara's Levi's stadium on Feb. 7.

The confirmation was acknowledged when a CBS behind-the-scenes video clip featuring Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin was released on Twitter. Apparently, the video authenticated the speculation that the "Uptown Funk" singer may perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.

"This may be Beyonce's footprint. I'd say she was here about four hours ago. Let's look for a Bruno one." Martin said in the video.

Mars, who fans have been anticipating to see in the upcoming show, was last spotted having dinner at the Grill in the Alley at the downtown Fairmont hotel in San Jose, as opposed to the other Super Bowl celebrities who are currently in San Francisco preparing for the performance. However, there is a high likelihood that he will still appear in the event.

As reports reveal, Coldplay, which has sold over 80 million records worldwide, will be the headline act for the Super Bowl halftime show. It will be playing what is believed to be its biggest show ever in the event. According to People, the band's performance will be inspired by a music festival they play in England, and it will include dance routines and a number of hit songs.

Apart from Mars and Coldplay, other celebrities who will be attending the Super Bowl have been revealed. Pepsi last month confirmed hearsays that have had fans in a frenzy at the beginning of the year.

It substantiated that Beyonce will be joining Coldplay and it is likely that they will perform their joint hit song "Hymn for the Weekend." This will not be the first time for Beyonce to step on that stage, however. The star performed in the XLVII event earlier in 2013 displaying a startling performance.

As CBS revealed, to kick things off at this years' event, Lady Gaga will sing "the Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of the league's golden anniversary game. Also, Marlee Matlin an Academy award winner will perform the anthem in sign language.

Coldplay and other artists featuring in Super Bowl 50 join a well-regarded list of recent acts that includes names like the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bruno mars, Paul McCartney, the Heartbreakers, U2, the E street Band and Katy Perry.
