Preview

Atlanta started the season strong with three straight victories but has been reeling at the moment, losing two of their last three games. The team managed to thrash the defense-less Houston Rockets, 112-97, on Saturday night at their home court of Philips Arena to get back to their winning form, as per SB Nation.

All-Stars Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard led the Hawks' attack. Millsap powered his team with 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and five steals while Howard also had a huge double-double with 20 points and 14 boards with three assists, one steal, and two blocked shots.

Dennis Schroder also had a big game with 17 points and 12 assists while small forward Kent Bazemore contributed 20 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Kyle Korver fired 10 points on 2-for-3 shooting from beyond the arc to make all of head coach Mike Budenholzer's starting five score in double figures.

The Hawks are 1-1 on the road so far but had lost four of their last five road games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers remain as the only undefeated team in the NBA after nipping the Philadelphia 76ers, 102-101, at the Wells Fargo Center also last Saturday, Fox Sports reported.

LeBron James almost had a triple-double, scoring 25 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and dishing out 14 assists with two steals to lead the Cavs. Kevin Love backed him up with 20 points and 11 boards.

Kyrie Irving had a bad game with eight points, seven rebounds, and two assists after going 3-for-17 from the field. JR Smith was able to produce 11 points and three steals as the starting shooting guard. Tristan Thompson hauled down 13 boards with seven points and two blocks.

Cleveland is 4-0 at home so far this season as they have won seven of their last home games since last season.

Prediction

The Cavs are almost unbeatable when playing at home and they are the overwhelming favorites to extend their undefeated streak to seven games.
