South Korean performer Kai of the boy group EXO was recently one of the featured stars in the men’s magazine Arena. During the interview, the star shared his desires for his beloved band.
The 22-year-old star revealed that his wish for success is not for the members alone. Instead, he confessed that he just wanted to keep EXO intact until the end if possible.
“It's not like we achieved all our goals because we won an award. We have to continue on. Rather than achieving something as an EXO member, I want to keep all the EXO members together until the end. That's become my ultimate goal. Life goals always change," said Kai as quoted by All KPop.
Furthermore, he said: "I learned a lot of patience, and the anger in my heart has disappeared. In the past, I wasn't able to do group practice well. I always practiced alone. Back then, the other trainees would leave at 9PM, but I'd practice until 12 and 1AM alone. Being with EXO though, I've learned how to work in a group.”
Meanwhile, Kai’s band EXO has recently uncovered their sub-unit CBX to the public. The group is composed of three members namely Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
During their guesting in KBS2’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”, the members revealed how their group was formed. Furthermore, singer Kangta also expressed his appreciation to the band in one part of the program.
“The three of us click well together. One day, we thought it would be really fun for the three of us to make a unit and promote, so we proposed it to the company,”said Chen as quoted by Soompi.
CBX is the first sub-unit of EXO. The group was introduced to the public on October 21.
