Preview

Houston has been inconsistent lately as the team alternated losing and winning their last four matches. The club is on an offensive tear, though, with James Harden scoring at least 30 points in all of their last four outings.

Their last game was a 114-106 road win over the struggling Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center on Monday to put them above .500, USA Today reported.

Harden, as usual, led the Rockets with 32 points, six rebounds, and 15 assists. Three other starters scored in double figures, namely Ryan Anderson, Trevor Ariza, and Clint Capela, who fired 23, 15, and 14 respectively.

Off the bench, Eric Gordon scored 11 points in 32 minutes spelling for starter Corey Brewer.

"Chemistry with everybody is getting there. It's just predicated on me making the right decision," said Harden with regards to his license from head coach Mike D'Antoni to dominate the ball every time.

Houston is known to be as deadly on the road as the team won five of their last 10 road games dating back to last season. This season they are currently 3-3 on away matches.

Meanwhile, the Spurs are slightly on a downward spiral after losing two of their last three games. The team started the season with a four-game winning streak, including a notable 129-100 win over the Golden State Warriors on opening day.

Their last match resulted in a 116-92 thrashing from the Los Angeles Clippers at their home court of AT&T Center last Saturday, as per SB Nation.

Main man Kawhi Leonard struggled in the game with only 14 points on 3-for-13 shooting from the field including a 0-for-3 stint from the three-point line. LaMarcus Aldridge top-scored with 19 points while Pau Gasol had 11.

It was indeed a forgettable game for head coach Gregg Popovich's squad as they seemed to forget how to play defense in the entire night.

The Spurs have struggled to win at the AT&T Center lately as they have split their last six home matches. The team is 1-2 at home this season.

Prediction

San Antonio is known for bouncing back with a vengeance after suffering a big loss. They are expected to do the same and win against the Rockets as the Spurs contain everyone in D'Antoni's roster except Harden.
