"Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered" has already proven itself to be better than its previous version. Now, there have been reports that fans have actually discovered numerous secrets that were never been found in the original version. One of them could be a new feature that would be a possible DLC.

Game Rant reports that players have discovered a new weapon within the game which could be a possible DLC content. The gun is an assault rifle called the XM-LAR, which was a gun that never belonged to the files of the old version of "Modern Warfare." It was actually in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" released back then in Nov. 10, 2009, that the weapon was first introduced.

The XM-LAR assault rifle was pointed out by Reddit users in a post, mentioning that the weapon "works perfectly" in the game. Even the gun has even a working killfeed icon. However, the game has only been made available through some tinkering from behind the scenes, meaning it never left the hidden confines of the game data. Yet, it would also mean that with some amount of work put into this weapon for "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered," it could mean that the gun would soon follow as a downloadable content.

Many are actually asking what other content could be added in the DLC. It could be plausible that because of the firearm found in the "Modern Warfare Remastered" files, other content like multiplayer maps, more weapons, and even the campaign itself could be recycled for the remastered title.

However, until we hear straight from the Activision or Infinity Ward, we can only hope and see.

Anyway, here's a gameplay video of "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered":
