Utah Jazz’s record for this season shows an impressive result with a 7-4. The team has managed to start the 2016-17 season suprisingly well and building the strong team.

The Jazz entered the season as a non-superteam and receive as much buzz like other teams according to CBS Sports. The team’s young players provide a possibility for the team to advance further than last season, when they have problem with the players’ health.

The team shows an impressive teamwork and depth. Last week, their point guard George Hill won the Western Conference Player of The Week award for the game played between Oct. 31 and Nov.6. Hill averaged 20.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds to bring the Jazz to 4-3 records.

Their game improved more the following week in their trips to the east. Although the played without Hill who suffered injury in his thumb, they won their away game 109-84 against the young Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 7, before Charlotte Hornets defeated them 98-104 two days later. Utah Jazz won their two last two away games against Orlando Magic and Miami Heat, 87-74 and 102-91.

After the victory against the Heat at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, small forward Gordon Hayward was relieved with the team’s performance as reported by Salt Lake Tribune. He said that the team looked really promising.

"It's about time. It seems like a long time since we've played this well to start a season,” Hayward said. “This was a huge road trip for us. It's been awhile since we've been this successful coming out east."

Hayward led the scoring with 25 points, followed by shooting guard Rodney Hood with 17 points. While two backup point guards Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack showed a great playmaking and scoring in Hill’s absence. During the game in Miami, Exum posted 10 points while Mack scored 12 points. This showed a good team balance in the Jazz.
