Ahead of the regular seasons which starts next week, NBA teams are riddled with injury of their star players after the preseason games. 76ers, Jazz and Pelicans are some of the teams that are troubled by their star players injury.

Regular season is just a week ahead but many teams are perplexed by their star players during the preseason. According to  USA Today, injury of star players can have significant impact to the team success.

In Philadelphia, injury of the star rookies Ben Simmons has disheartened the fans, as they have a high hope the 6'10" forward will bring back Philadelphia 76ers to the elite level.

Simmons suffered a fracture on his metatarsal bone of the right foot when he landed on his teammate teammate's foot Shaw Long during a scrimmage in a practice session early October. He has undergone surgery, and expected to miss three months of game.

In Utah, few days later Utah Jazz star point guard, Gordon Hayward injured his left hand during practice. Further examination showed he suffered a fracture in his fourth finger. He will be sidelined for six weeks.

While Milwaukee Bucks leading scorer Khris Middleton tore his harmstring during preseason workout in the end of September. He will have to be sidelined for at least six months, and his condition makes things difficult for Bucks in the outside scoring. The only feasible replacement will be a veteran Jason Terry and Rashad Vaughn, as rookie Malcolm Brogdon may not be ready to handle the pressure yet.

The most recent one was the New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis who suffered sprain ankle during NBA Global Game in China last Wednesday Oct. 12. He has to rest for 15 days, which means he will miss the first regular season game.

Some other teams which are riddled by the injury of their star players are Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons according to report from Sports Illustrated.

Atlanta Hawks center Tiago Splitter will miss four weeks minimum due to harmstring strain, which also happen to New York Knicks center Joakim Noah. While Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson who just undewent a knee surgery will only be able to play in December.
