Earlier reports mentioned that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" had numerous secrets, which could either lead to possible DLCs or even just unlockables in the actual game files themselves. What makes the remastered version of the 2007's hit game "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" better is the actual added hidden contents never before found in the original game.
These hidden gems of a set of weapons were first discovered online, which include unimplemented melee weapons, microtransactions and guns, according to PC Games. Apparently, the ones who found them used data mining to find out these extra weapons never before seen in the original "Call of Duty 4" game. But even if these weapons were mined out of the game's files, they're still deemed unusable and useless, which may mean that they could be accessible as a DLC.
Other than the additional weapons, other features have also been discovered in the remastered game such as additional loots.
According to Polygon, there are at least 10 weapons that have been discovered in the "Modern Warfare Remastered" that are playable. They are, however, without any description and many of them have been seen in the other "Call of Duty" series, like the assault rifle XM-LAR. The other hidden weapons discovered in the game that could possibly be DLC material include a melee shovel, shotguns, rifles and pistols.
In other news, players also discovered an Easter Egg in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" found on a roof that was dedicated to the known glitch that slipped players out of the game map.
