NBA News: LeBron James is angry over Phil Jackson's comment about his business associates

LeBron James expressed his frustration over Phil Jackson comment about his business associates. In an interview with ESPN, Jackson referred James’ business associates as posse.

During an interview with Jackie MacMullan from ESPN, the remark came after MacMullan asked Jackson about his impression of James. Particularly the differences player and coach relationship, such as Magic Johnson and Pat Riley, also Michael Jordan and him, in comparation to James and his Miami Heat coach Eric Spoelstra.

Jackson replied the question indicating that James had no respect to the team nor the coach. He said that during the game in Cleveland, James asked to spend one night while the team traveled. As as result, Spoelstra texted Riley asking for advice. Jackson commented that the team should be the priorities than the individual player, hence the posse comment came out.

“You can't hold up the whole team because you and your mom and your posse want to spend an extra night in Cleveland,” Jackson said. He also acknowledged how James wanted a special treatment, “ I do know LeBron likes special treatment. He needs things his way.”

James was angry over the word posse and fires back at the highly acclaimed NBA coach as reported by FOX News. He said that he now has zero respect for the 11-time NBA champion who is now the New York Knicks president of basketball operation.

Jackson is the coach who is known for his capability to manage superstar and uniting them to put the team ahead. He has worked with the superstar “The Air” Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal and bringing multiple championship rings with them.

While on the other hand, James is a player who is known to think of himself as the greatest NBA player of all time. He left Cleveland Cavaliers to pursue NBA championship somewhere else. On one occassion, his former teammate Dwayne Wade said that James would never be able to equate Jordan, moreover to surpass him.
