Preview

Indiana has lost three of their last five matches as the team is currently in the seventh spot of the Eastern Conference standings.

In their latest match, the Pacers succumbed to a 20-point beating in the hands of the Phoenix Suns, 116-96, at their home court of Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis last Friday, as per the Indy Star.

Head coach Nate McMillan's men struggled throughout the game against the younger and scrappier Suns squad, who got solid performances from their second unit.

The Pacers were led by Myles Turner, who had 22 points and six rebounds, and Jeff Teague, who contributed 21 points, four boards, and seven assists.

Paul George is currently out with a sprained ankle and is expected to miss this game against the Thunder on Sunday. CJ Miles is also sidelined with a sore left knee but Rodney Stuckey is cleared to play after going through a hamstring injury.

McMillan questioned his team's heart and energy after the match, saying that these type of games without their superstar should "fire" them up.

"We went through the motions. We were on our heels," said McMillan. "It was bad out there. The game should fire you up. When they toss the ball up, you should be ready to go and (on Friday) we weren't."

Meanwhile, the Thunder is on a two-game winning run after losing four straight games. The team is now at the fourth spot of the Western Conference standings, tied with the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets with an 8-5 record.

OKC is coming off a 124-105 victory over the Brooklyn Nets also in their home court last Friday, ABC News reported.

Russell Westbrook had another triple-double, the 41st of his career, with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists to lead head coach Billy Donovan's side. Victor Oladipo chipped in 26 points, five boards, and six assists.

Prediction

The Pacers are 0-5 on the road this season while the Thunder is 6-3 at home. A third straight win for OKC is predicted.
