NBA News: Steve Kerr admits his mistake for public criticism, pleads NBA for more travel calls

Steve Kerr who was fined for $25K after his public criticism to the NBA officials admitted that he made mistakes for publicly criticize the officials. He also asked the league to give more calls for traveling violations.

The NBA fined Kerr for $25,000 on Sunday after public criticism on the NBA officials  who missed traveling violations during the NBA game. He made his criticism during the interview with a Bay Area radio on Thurday.

Kerr was frustrated with so many traveling violations in the NBA games which was not noticed by the referees. He took his fustration to the radio interview, saying that he could put together a blooper reel of NBA officials’ missed traveling calls.

Subsequently, Kerr admitted that he made mistakes to criticize the officials publicly. He said in an interview in Indianapolis with reporters after Golden State Warriors practice session as reported by NBC Bay Area.

“I deserved it. I know I’m not supposed to talk about that stuff publically, so I’m not surprised by the fine,” Kerr said. “Like I said, I probably earned it. I shouldn’t speak out publicly about that stuff.”

However, Kerr expected the NBA to put more attention on the traveling violations. He said that the traveling violations are things that make all coaches to be frustrated. He explained further that he did not complain about bad calls, but the need to rule enforcement.

Known as an outspoken person, Kerr also criticized the presidential election. After Donald Trump won the presidential election, he criticized the result of the election.

As for the public criticism on NBA officials, this is not the first time Kerr. After the NBA Finals Game 6 in June this year, he openly criticized the game officials. He made his criticism openly in public and NBA fined him $25,000.
