Joel Embiid scored a career high 26 points in a 120-105 victory against Phoenix Suns on Saturday. His high scoring game continue to bring the second consecutive wins for 76ers on Monday in a game against Miami Heat.

Embiid led his team to pass Phoenix Suns on Saturday, Nov. 19. According to Philadelphia Inquirer, he looked pretty healthy for the player whose condition was in question. He tallied 26 points in 20 minutes and the Philadelphia76ers grabbed their third win this season.

Philadelphia 76ers opened the season with a seven consecutive losses and they had hard time to build the teamwork. Moreover they are troubled with injury after Ben Simmons injured his foot before the season, followed by Nerlens Noel injured his left knee.

Head coach Brett Brown tried some players composition before he finally found the right one with Embiid, Robert Covington, Ersan Ilyasova, Gerald Henderson and Sergio Rodriguez as the starter. The combination of Embiid in the center, forwards Covington and Ilyasova, supported by Henderson and Rodriguez in the back court have given the team two straight wins.

In the game against Miami Heat on Monday Nov. 21, the combination proved to be lethal. Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside may dominate the court with 32 points and 13 rebounds. But the entire Philadelphia 76ers played very well. While the rest of the Miami Heat players, according to Miami Herald contributed very little.

Josh Richardson and Goran Dragic were only able to make five of their 24 field-goal attempts. The rest of Miami Heat had a poor shooting percentage with only 21 shots were made of 69 attempts.

Meanwhile, the entire Philadelphia 76ers played very well. Embiid led the scorer with 22 points, followed by Henderson and Ilyasova with 19 and 10 points respectively. While Jahlil Okafor scored 15 points off the bench in 25 minutes. Philadelphia 76ers will play the next game hosting Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday at Wells Fargo center.
