TUESDAY - The 22-year-old "Sorry" hit maker made a scene on his way to his concert at Palau Sant Jordi stadium in Barcelona, as he punched a fan in the face. Justin Beiber arrived at the crowd-filled venue aboard a chauffer-driven car where a male fan reached out inside the window to touch him.

Beiber initially rolled down the window to greet fans, but got surprised to receive a persistent caressing from the fan, who is a minor. The superstar immediately cried out, "Hey man, hey!", and shortly responded with a straight jab to the face after. The fan, together with the rest of the Beliebers who witnessed the incident, was left in absolute stun with blood dripping from his lips.

A video was taken by TMZ, which showed the victim facing the camera and recalling the incident in Spanish. He re-enacted the punch made by Beiber and turned his bloodied lip to be clearly seen. A group of girls behind him appear equally shocked with the behavior of the icon.

Police confirmed on Wednesday that they are not investigating the incident, as they leave it up to the victim to file a formal complaint, reports Daily Mail. They boy appeared to have told the Mossos d'Esquadra officers immediately when they arrived in the vicinity, but he is still reflecting if he shall sue Beiber. According to the spokesman of the police, what occurred during that moment was considered a misdemeanour rather than a crime.

"As we're talking about a misdemeanour rather than a serious crime, we haven't got the power to act off our own backs and so we're not actively investigating this.", says Mossos d'Esquadra representative.

Earlier in 2016, the Canadian pop star explained through his Instagram account how he is averse in taking photos with fans. He expresses, "I feel like a zoo animal", justifying that he wants to keep his sanity amid the patronization, as fans sometimes take things too far, which makes him "depressed". He continues by saying he does not owe anybody any picture.

Justin Beiber just came from Italy and is presently in Spain for the Europe leg of his 2016 Purpose World Tour.
