Xbox One players have a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. One of them is another chance to play another game for free and what other way to celebrate that than to explore the vast magical world of Tamriel in "The Elder Scrolls Online," the massive multiplayer online RPG from ZeniMax Online Studios.
Gamespot reports that Xbox One gamers this Thanksgiving will be given the chance to have the extended free play weekend if they signed up with Xbox Live Gold. Those who aren't Xbox Live Gold members can still play the game for free, albeit for only five days. The event will last only until 11:59PM EST on a Sunday, Nov. 27. The download for the free game of "The Elder Scrolls Online" is still available for 80GB.
According to IGN, players who will be able to participate in the special Thanksgiving event for "The Elder Scrolls Online" for its extended free play weekend for Xbox One will have access to the "Tamriel Unlimited" base game. This also gives them the chance to access "500 Crowns." Throughout the five days of the special event, players will be able to save their progress and continue it even after purchase. Those who are also setting their sights on the Crown Pack would be glad to know that a discount will be available during the weekend.
In addition to that, the "Elder Scrolls Online" participants in the free-to-play weekend are given a chance to register for the "Trip of a Lifetime Giveaway," which will offer them a chance to win one of five all-expenses-paid trips to exotic places around the globe.
