‘World of Warcraft’ news: 12th anniversary to give digital Corgis as pets, Timewarped Badges to be also given away

It already has been 12 years since the launch of Blizzard's hit MMORPG "World of Warcraft" and, as an anniversary gift, the studio will be giving away digital Corgis as pets to its fans.

According to a post on the game's official site, logging in now and between Nov. 30 will allow players to claim the special "Anniversary Gift Package" in the form of the adorable Corgi puppy in the mail, along with obtaining the "WoW's 12 Anniversary" achievement.

Other than the Corgi pup, the 12th anniversary package will also include 200 Timewarped Badges, as well as an item that will aid in increasing the experience and reputation by 12 percent as players gain from kills that lasts only for an hour. Players will get to also receive a new quest that will take place in Stormwind or Orgrimmar after getting the "Letter from the Timewalkers."

According to IGN, there are also daily quests that will players can partake of by receiving them from NPCs like the Historians Llore and Ju'pe. These quests will reward players with more Timewarped badges as they correctly answer WoW trivia questions. Players will also be able to buy the Corgi Pup and other anniversary items from these questgivers.

In other news, Blizzard will be planning something big for its "World of Warcraft" players with its next "Legion" update as it features more raids and other promising perks.
