Chicago Bulls started the 2016 season with the departure of their main point guards, Derrick Rose to New York Knicks. They added two superstars Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo and things turn surprisingly very well for them.
The Bulls book a 10-6 records in the first two months of the season. The addition of Wade and Rondo in their roster have given a surprising result. Moreover according to Bleacher Report, Rondo has not delivered his best game so far.
Rondo, who averaged 11.9 points and 11.7 assists last season with the Sacramento Kings still need some adjustment time to run with full speed. While in the beginning of this season, he only averages 7.7 points and 7.4 assists with the Bulls.
He needs to increase his off the ball movement since he is not much useful without the ball in his hands. While the Bulls ball movement mostly revolves around Jimmy Butler.
Butler is the pillar of the Chicago Bulls, and he is the one who reached out to Wade that made him decided to join the Bulls. Wade told the story as reported by ESPN.
"If Jimmy don't reach out to me then I'm not coming to Chicago because I don't think Jimmy wants me here,” Wade said. “But Jimmy reaches out to me and says, 'D, I want you to come,' it's a different.”
Butler is the leader of the pack in Chicago Bulls and Wade confirmed that the league now is different than it was before. The NBA nowadays has changed in the way players court one another. Players, especially the star player, have the most important role to invite the free agent players. Therefore Butler’s modesty as the star player to invite Wade is a plus point for Chicago Bulls.
